I wouldn’t say ONLY. The outsiders play a role but the main people I hear bashing North LA are right here in south Louisiana. It exists for a reason. It’s not like someone moved here and randomly made it up.

I could be wrong but I think this is probably because for the longest time the Cowboys was the game that came on the local stations on Sundays so a lot more people growing up watching the Dallas instead of the Saints. Maybe some older NWLA residents can clarify this.
