Almost had his first 2 dingers. He stepped up big time in that game.

Also Milam. Such a beast.

Happy that Braswell got the winning hit against his old team. Justice!

Tigers actually outhit the Cocks, 13-12. Didn't seem like it at the time.

Exhausting game!

BRASWELL has been on fire.

Most importantly, timely hitting….the mental toughness is peaking at the right time for sure

amazing considering we gave up something like 5 hits in a row in that 6th inning

There was absolutely zero wind at that point. Flags were stiff earlier in the game. Would have been out with even a slight breeze. Couldn’t be happier for those guys.

Disappointed LSU doesn’t have his hit on X

Excited we have Milam a couple more seasons along with Brown & Larson

Proud of how far Braswell has come this season & happy he had an excellent game against SC

I don’t understand how people give up on this team so easily, they have a lot of fight in them

I was yelling at the tv when Milazzo hit that ball.

This is what it’s all about

That ball was a rope. You need vets like him.

I told my wife during the game that the perfect ending in Omaha would be Milazzo hitting his first homer ala Warren Morris in the bottom of the 9th to win it.

First one probably hits the wall at LSU, but the second one Milazzo hit goes over the fence at LSU.

Man...I was praying that Milazzo would get one over the fence to cap off a really decent year and a wonderful career at LSU. His name will go down as one of the blue collar workers that truly added to the magic of LSU Tiger baseball.

be Milazzo hitting his first homer

I saw Alex go yard at Minutemade as a Fr in '20. About the 2:10 mark.

Crazy to think he hit that one out the yard in a big league park as a freshman and doesnt have 1 since then.

So close last night but that large SECT park eats up everything not absolutely crushed.

Milazzo is just clutch. He’s also been working with Ryan Theriot a lot on his hitting. But if that pitch is more than a 73mph change up, it leaves the yard. He completely muscled that to the wall. He is ALL heart.

Believe it or not but Milazzo hit one out in 2020 as a freshman.

Larson hit a moonshot in the 9th too that didn’t get over. Hit it to the warning track oppo earlier in the game too. One more year of strength training and those are gone.

"A 73 mph change up". Exactly. There was practically no "speed" from that pitcher, same with Tommy Tanks almost grand slam.
