Two very contrasting threads about LSU. One very complimentary and the other filled with hate (the same ole toothless, backwoods BS).

The Good

The Ugly

I'll chalk the bad one up to just a bunch of sore losers who can't get past getting beaten by toothless, uneducated, swamprats. I mean, how could that possibly ever happen?

Well the one thing they have to fall back on is that people from Texas have class.

right?

being here in Omaha for the last 72 hours, both sides have alot of douchebaggery to throw around

I saw/heard asinine comments from both sides equally

I witnessed alot of class, more than normal from everyone, but every crowd has that shining gem or two that cant shut the frick up

"What's to generally like about LSU?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I've always said, it's easy to spell."

And UT isn't?

"LSU.... Where to begin?
My mom was from Louisiana, I'm a coon arse basically.

I dislike LSU more than Aggy. Yes I said it.
I hate LSU, and I don't hate much.
LSU has some of the luckiest teams ever. "

Jackass is more like it.

good fans on the whole, but a few bad apples just like any fanbase (paging port o potty tippers). big cocky state school that expects to win, and they don't like the opposite. not very different from us.

So Stu, you could not detect one ounce of sarcasm from that post.

they caught her

(At least the cute girl behind her was holding up the "PWN" sign)

P.S. what kind of sadistic MFer would go to someone else's message board to talk smack about an important game during said important game (no offense, CosmoKramer).

Sorry, but my experience of meeting Texas fans at Baylor left a sour taste in my mouth. I've always liked UT. They have original colors, great tradition, awesome town, and a cool mascot. But when they came to Waco and taunted BAYLOR fans, I hope they lose every game (except when they play OU). Second only to Bama fans for the arrogant crown.

yep...they whined about the two hit pitches in the 6th, wide strike zone in the 9th, LSU's fanbase being obnoxious, LSU's players being classless, and LSU being lucky. And then boasted at least they're still Texas. Good stuff right der!

Yes, that quote made me laugh! That's like us calling Thai food one part of the Holy Trinity of Louisiana cuisine, and a staple of Louisiana culture.
