Listening to Chris Blair on radio is painful. You can hear the shot clock horn in back ground and he’s still talking about a pass over to the wing and then dribble and crossover and NOW HE SHOOTS

He's supposed to give the ball to the referee because he should know that handing the ball to the opposing player is an automatic technical.
I guess you would have to play to understand why it's a rule.
