All it takes is one person to sue for discrimination and the 4/5 yr is over. If money can be made in college affiliated athletic ventures, no reason to limit.

One of my favorite players. Guy at work had two sec championship tickets he sold me. Didn't know that would be his last game.
On a side note, how long has it been since we had a player suspended for weed?

He didn't say play for LSU.
But he absolutely should. So much fun watching HB7 on the field in purple & gold.

What’s the NCAA gonna do about it?
What can they do? Courts make the rules now.

If he had been a baseball player, he maybe could gone back and play foott, but now, the rules don't allow it

Like he would suit up and play for any other college team??? I mean is that even in question? The dude got kicked off the team and still loves and reps LSU hard. Its never in doubt who he would play for

For those unaware, there actually IS the thought that we will have to eliminate the 4-year eligibility rule as that takes opportunity away from players to make a living. The really big picture here is that the NIL, portal and inability of the NCAA to govern itself is all about these athletes being “exploited” for money which is utterly stupid. The ruling by the judge saying Sorsby’s rights taking precedent over justice from him breaking known rules is the ultimate example of how messed up all this is.

This is on congress.
Where in the US Constitution does it give Congress authority to regulate college sports? (Hint: you won't find it)
90% of what Congress does isn't permitted by the 18 specifically enumerated powers given to the federal government in the U.S. Constitution.
