Glad i lived to see 2019 and the national championship

It was over for me after that year. That was the pinnacle. The last year of the old college football dynamic. And we will never approach that level of dominance again. It was a good 45-50 year run for me.

Players just don’t give a shite like they used to now that they can get paid. They used to have to earn their pay in the league by winning and getting their name out there. Money decreases motivation in these kids that never had money

Getting used to losing is easier than I thought it would be. It’s really quite peaceful. I’ll be able to give more attention to my golf game.

Woodward should have to answer for the ridiculous contract/buyout. Who does he answer to?

After halftime of the Aggy game it was really apparent where this season was headed. Now I don’t have to ruin my Saturday’s getting to BR, fighting traffic, spending a shite ton of money etc. I can sit at home, cook some food, hang out with my buddies, drink beer for less and watch us get our shite pushed in for free.

Perhaps everyone’s in shock. Like your body and mind do when a saw tears both you arms off. You be like “damn that guy’s remarkably calm considering he just watched both his arms be sawed and torn off. Kudos to him.” Guy’s in shock.

NIL and the portal has taken the “feel” that college football used to be compared to the NFL… just doesn’t seem the same.

2019 was the last true college football season. Covid screwed the 2020 season. Nil and the portal have turned college football into something worse than the NFL after 2020. I’ve been a diehard LSU football fan since the 1960’s, but I’m to the point where I wouldn’t be heartbroken if they did away with college football.

I think the 2020 covid/Blm crap sunk a lot of people's fandom.
