well about 160 other dudes have this year including 10 Hogs in May! These dudes pop off and there is clear data that makes them look foolish

Well the last time we have this pitching matchup with them, we won in extra innings. That was at home but our lineup is hitting a lot better right now. They may say the same.

In a one game scenario, pitching depth won't be an issue for either team. I would not trade Anderson and Evans for Root and whoever they bring out the pen.

Walks are an issue for our staff, but not for who we will have going on Friday.

I don't think Zach Root is going to be as effective against us. He's going to be told to tone down his bullshite because Arkansas and the NCAA won't want that on the Omaha stage and it's going to frick with him.

I didn’t realize he’s like that. I thought that was specific to Tennessee.

Unless WVU was overrated, the tigahs are on fire right now.

Anderson’s only weakness is giving up HRs. Meanwhile Omaha is a huge park.

It was specific to Tennessee. The guy pitched against LSU in a big (albeit muted because of the 10:15 start time) game and wasn't like that at all. Tennesse takes the approach to be antagonist towards the opponent...prompting many opponents to respond in kind.

LSU has their theatrics too...but not nearly to that level

Is why the contest is played by players and not partisan fandom

I'm thinking Arkansas wins by 3-4 runs. Anderson is a good pitcher but I just haven't seen elite stuff from him. Meanwhile Root was absolutely elite in his last start and has seemed to get better each week. Arkansas has better hitters 1-9 that can manufacture runs better than LSU and IMO has better guys coming out of the pen.

Well, shite, we will be lucky to keep it within a dozen or so. How in the ever hell did we take two of three from them? Thats like a Jr High team beating the varsity....twice

About as accurate as the quote from the AR fan. Root was good against us.

Idk what game you were watching. Root left the mound with his head down.

If you don’t cherry-pick the confident ones that thread is fairly reasonable.

Just fans that know it’s about as even as possible looking for slants to make themselves less nervous.

I’m fine with every thing they said except for not seeing elite stuff from Kade. You can’t watch him pitch and look at his K count in the hardest conference in baseball and say his stuff isn’t elite. Regardless of bias.

The first 3 innings against A&M in Hoover was more dominant than any 3 inning stretch Paul Skenes ever had.
9 batters
1 ball in play (weak ground ball to 2B)
1 FOUL BALL
8 strike outs
9 up, 9 down.

Sure bud keep telling yourself that. Or maybe he hasn’t actually seen Kade pitch other than the WVU game. Either way that is an extremely dumb opinion considering Kade has climbed to potentially the #1 overall pick in the draft lol

That’s the problem. I’m sure he didn’t even watch that first game when Kade pitched. Or at least I hope he didn’t with that idiotic take
