Me and my wife went last year to Fayetteville for the game. We sat right in the middle of Arkansas fans all around us. They were some of the friendliest fans I’ve met at away games. I hope you enjoy Baton Rouge

Louisiana lagniappe restaurant. Fish in parchment paper, oyster lagniappe, stuffed bell peppers. Best Louisiana food there is…get reservations

No need to focus on restaurants or things to do. Get to campus, park and explore campus. Plenty of tailgates will feed you. Go see Mike…watch the band come down the hill…go in the PMAC to cool off and hear the band. Be in your seats 30 min prior to kickoff.
NOLA on Friday night…depending on where you’re staying…Mandina’s…Katie’s…Gris Gris for dinner.

Enjoy my Arkansas SEC brother. Definitely strike up a tailgating conversation and you'll be well taken care of. Louisiana is unique and we will enjoy your company. Geaux Tigers!

Man, I miss Parrains. Sitting at the bar eating char grilled oysters with a refreshing beverage on Friday night was always a good time.

" just know Arkansas fan in general being married into a family of them."

Me too! Been up here for over 3 decades and flyfishing my heart out. Still like to wet a line in the Gulf / Marsh though.

Fayetteville, Arkansas is a great place to visit. I have two boys - one went to UARK and one LSU. UARK is nothing like BR on a game day. It's way more chill. The stadium is really nice there and the town is charming. Dickson street is fun - We like JJs not because of the food quality but because it's a fun place on Dickson street. But when we go we usually factor in a hike somewhere - it's really pretty there - and we have some local places we love to eat and a distillery in Rogers we almost always visit. Enjoy the campus but also don't be afraid to head north and visit Bentonville area. Congrats to your son. We love both LSU and Arkansas (but we always cheer for LSU)

Also - any tips on parking? I've heard it can get pretty crazy on gameday, and as I mentioned, I've never experienced it.
