Hog fan here - parking help

Any tips on parking for the LSU/Arkansas game? I've heard it can get pretty crazy on gameday, and as I mentioned, I've never experienced it. Seeing parking prices of $100 for on campus parking. My wife and I don't mind walking a mile or so to and from the stadium.

NOLA on Friday night…depending on where you’re staying…Mandina’s…Katie’s…Gris Gris for dinner.
Our Hilton points are finally coming in handy when we stay in NOLA, staying at the Roosevelt

As someone that lives in Northwest Arkansas and understands the Razorbacks let me give you some advice. Understand Tigerbait is just good fun and not anything to get mad over or try and start a argument over. Laugh it off, engage with them about the game realistically and give some good natured ribbing back.
You do that, you will have a blast and be treated to food and beer, if not and you get into a pissing contest like I know hawg fans can be, you will think Death Valley is as bad as all the rumors y’all have heard.
Experiencing several away games, I believe going to the game in Fayetteville as an LSU fan is the worst experience out there and I hope you experience the complete opposite in Death Valley.
I parrot what others are saying, Chimes on campus is a great experience. Also try and get some legit Po Boys in NOLA, personal favorite is Parkway.
Yea, I'm pretty thick-skinned, I don't mind some ribbing... if it starts getting physical or abusive, that's when things get frustrating, but I fully expect ribbing going in

Dagger to my heart... I tend to think you're right... hoping enough teams lose in weeks 1-3 so that the hogs jump into the top 25... gives it a better chance of a night game.

Hey LSU fans, hog fan here. My wife surprised me for my birthday and got me tickets to the Arkansas @ LSU game this year. I couldn't be more excited. I've never experienced Death Valley before, and hoping it's a great game. Just excited to be able to experience gameday, and hoping it's a night game.
Would love to hear recommendations from you all. My wife and I will get into NOLA Friday night, and will drive into BR fairly early depending on game time. Would love any recommendations for BR, whether it's a restaurant or a tailgate, or anything.
