Fun Fact: Frank Thomas is the only MLB HoFer in the history of the SEC.
Sucks Bo Jackson got hurt because he would have more than likely got in too.

Everything I have read about Cam is that he has topped out at 97.
I was coming here to post the same thing

Thanks for sharing. The Big Hurt would know what good pitching looks like. Bodes well for Cam. Bodes well for LSU. The 25th can't get here soon enough. Let's hope Cam doesn't get an offer he can't refuse.

So what am I missing? How is a player with his potential not drafted higher? Like a LH Skenes just dropped in our laps.
You are missing the fact that he DOES NOT sit at 100 mph. He has touched 97. He sits around 93 mph. That is still awesome, but if he was sitting at 100 mph, as a LHP out of HS, Paul Skenes would have been the second pick in the draft.
We are very lucky to have gotten this kid (if indeed we have; there is still time to sign). I loved his interview. He has a mature, professional approach and a ton of swag.

The Big Hurt
More like the big hunk, he looks like he could still play.

Think Will Clark will make it?

This is not true. The Bama freshman could pitch 100 and got rocked at times

Then the devil is REALLY important to getting to the majors.

Sorry, but Jaxon and Braxton have about 0.5% chance to play in the show. Better encourage them to simply have fun playing with their buddies growing up, while working to get their college degree or go to trade school.

A high school senior boy has apparently got a shot of less than three in 50 – which roughly equates to a 5.6 percent chance – of playing men’s baseball at an NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) team. So the odds aren’t great at that age, which makes sense – there’s a lot of variables.
But things improve for the guys if they can get to that stage, as just less than 11 in 100 – 10.5 percent – of those NCAA senior male baseball players will then get drafted by an MLB team.
But overall, that means that around just one in 200, or approximately 0.5 percent of high school senior boys that play baseball will one day be drafted by an MLB team.
