Hmmm...will RJF even see the field?

Didn't see this brought up, so pardon if Germans. Typically if Miles uncertain on a player, it's darn near a papal bull that he won't play or be very limited in playing time. I hope this isn't the case, but it would be interesting given all the press around RJF this week. From The Advocate...

I doubt RJF misses this game. Probably wont be 100%, but i think he tries to play anyways. He's a fierce competitor. I just hope he doesnt sustain further injury by trying to play.

Maybe a question you don't want to hear but hardly a stupid question. I'm sure RJF thinks he's playing or did when he made the comments. But he doesn't have the final say. Sure as hell didn't sound like Miles was sure he's playing.

As much as i want him to play, i'm not sure if he will. No doubt we could use him against UF, but not sure Miles will risk further injury. We will need him more agains UGA and BAMA.

I was frankly a little surprise to read that in the advocate, which is why I brought it up. I tend to agree with you that he'll play some, but given Miles track record when commenting on injuries, it does make me wonder. The injury is certainly more lingering than I'd thought.

I love my Tigers...but RJF should not even dress for Saturday's game. His comments are that of a THUG...our defense can speak for itself through performance and results. They don't need a ghetto spokesman. C'mon RJF...get with the self-respect program...or get to steppin'...

Yea, I thought that was a stupid comment on RJF's part.
Anyway, I just got my haircut in downtown BR and the barber said that Joe Aleva was in there yesterday and said that RJF wasn't going to play because of his hip. I was pretty surprised by this, but that was what I was told.
