Hate to break it to y'all but the no one has beat the Beavers twice this year. It ain't gonna happen. Y'all don't have the patience or the plate discipline or the pitching. Y'all are a talented team for sure, but the Beavs are just too good this year. That said I am hoping for a much more competitive game tonight. Beavs win 7-5

LSU beat UL Lafayette twice in one day in the 2002 Baton Rouge Regional to advance to the Super Regional against Rice.

As for asking the Oregon State fan to be a gracious winner. We Tiger fans need to practice the same thing.

That's usually the case, but it's game day.

The first game is huge. Since 2000 teams from the losers bracket that have forced an if necessary game in the semifinals are 8-6.

You also didn't have to face the same team more than twice without your child rapist pitching ace.

OSU is a great team but everything that could go wrong for LSU went wrong in that first game. Reminds me of the Bills beating the Pats 31-0 one year then later getting blanked by the Pats to the same score pats went on to win the Super Bowl.

If I remember correct a fricking front came through and shifted the wind and it was blowing in hard. Bats went cold. Don't think we scored more than 5 runs in the next two games after probably averaging more than 10. That was sickening.

That and we couldn't field a bunt to save our life.

It was unfortunate that walker had to leave. I feel bad for the kid. He was really pitching well the last few weeks. On the other hand OSU not swinging at balls, hitting a grand slam, and making excellent plays on the field, is not things going wrong for LSU, it is those boys playing good baseball.

Again it was too bad that Walker had to leave, and also we all know that call at second on the steal was BS your guy was safe, but other than that let's be honest, the Beavs just out played y'all.

But here's to another day, and we are all hoping for a great baseball game!

GO BEAVS!

Point taken, but LSU will not issue 12 walks today. My concern is not pitching. I am most concerned about scoring. Casey has the luxury of a deep bullpen of quality dudes. If one pitcher happens to be off, Casey can just go to the pen and find another one with a sub-2 ERA.
