I like McDonnel also. But mainly, I want to hire top pitching coach and top hitting coach. I don't care what their names are. LSU hasn't had either for quite a few years now, in spite of having some really talented players....just either great or average/undeveloped players. LSU has been passed by a whole lot of teams in the hitting/ptiching dept. I am quite sure our base running and defense will improve no matter what coach we sign..
