Hey Herbstreit, at least no LSU players quit the team during a game like Ohio State

Since Herbstreit calls out LSU, he should address this incident at his alma mater. Our team has its issues, but you don't see any of our guys quitting the team in the middle of a damn game. Fun to watch little bitch Ryan Day in turmoil losing control of his locker room.

Apparently, linebacker K'Vaughan Pope decided he had gotten his fill of playing football at OSU and there was no sense in waiting any longer, so he just packed it in right in the middle of the Buckeyes' game against Akron.
After trying to run out on the field in a substitution package in the second quarter on Saturday night against Akron, the senior linebacker was waved off by teammate Teradja Mitchell. Once getting back to the sideline, a visibly upset Pope started walking down the sideline by himself and was heading back to the locker room on his own.
Eventually he was corralled by staffer C.J. Barnett in the south end zone, and Pope was guided back to the sideline. Once there, though, Pope took off his gloves and threw them into the stands and began removing his Ohio State jersey — which apparently caught the attention of coach Ryan Day. After another conversation with multiple staffers, Pope was then led to the locker room while the game was ongoing.
And if there was any doubt as to if this was possibly some sort of misunderstanding that could be ironed out, Pope has already sent some tweets that would indicate he has played his last down of football at Ohio State.

Ohio State managed to piss off a Pope.

Herbstreit is the least of our problems. Who cares.

Well obviously it's because LSU players don't care anymore.

Herbstreit asked “do the LSU players want to play?” That mirrors the opinion of a lot of posters on this board, and frankly, it merits being asked.

Huge difference between a career-long backup quitting mid game because he’s upset over NOT SEEING ENOUGH PLAYING TIME, and team leaders and producers quitting with two games left in the season.

That was classy. OSU is not a top 20 team.

I think we have enough players who have proven that they do the last two weeks to be just fine.
Herbie is greatly oversimplifying the situation. The problem with guys like Deculus, Hines, Harris, Clark and a couple of others isn’t that they don’t want to play. It’s that they have glaring deficiencies in different areas. That’s not the same thing. Not even remotely close.
We all see Clark giving max effort out there. He just isn’t a good fit at MLB. Same with TDP. He would be just fine if healthy and behind a better line. He just isn’t cut out for what we are this year. Harris frankly just doesn’t look good at all. But none of these guys look like they are quitting.
Who else does the Rant see as a vet who doesn’t want to play? It really just looks like one guy, unless you are including Emery and Fonua for grade issues.

LSU fans are obsessed with what the sports media thinks.

Maybe they are cry babies like Herbie.

Having a popular CFB show trash your program is NEVER a good look.
Herbie makes it personal sometimes

This board was cleaning the nut from his tip after that retarded statement. A player on his team quitting mid game is some funny karma for that one.
