Yeah...I'll "turn my head" away from the "potentially he struck a woman".

You think everyone accused of a crime should be punished? That's a bizarre concept. The way it should work is the University should look into the matter and determine if there is significant evidence of wrongdoing, If not, he should miss no playing time. If so, he should be suspended until it's sorted out.

I guess you could have 'unlawfully' accused someone if some kind of slander or libel was involved but that is obviously not the case here...

That said, whether we like it or not, this situation does have the potential to be shaded by the Rice imbroglio.

Which would suck big time because the two circumstances, by all rights, should be viewed in distinctly different lights.

Hopefully he will coach well into his 70s like Bill Snyder at Kansas State.

just like I don't know what happened neither do you, so I would just be careful in praising Mills and Les before the matter is resolved huh?

Let me set this straight for you. There was video of Ray clocking his fiance and dragging her lifeless body. Ray admits to doing it.

Now as far as we know, no video of mills clocking some girl and dragging her lifeless body. Mills also hasn't admitted guilt he plead not guilty.

See how these two are not similar at all? The NFL had everything it needed, evidence and admission. LSU has neither.

Wait what? You actually believe Les let the team vote? I have purple and gold glasses. People with out them are dumb enough to believe what Miles says. For example he said Lamar Louis and kwon practiced all week. Yet there is a picture proving they didn't. Miles bullshits the media. 10 years and people don't know this?

Mills has denied it and has witnesses claiming he did not strike the woman. Mills is a good dude and heavily invested working with children and the big brother program.. now of course anything is always possible!.. That certainly does not affect this possibility.. However,
it's unfair to assume a guy is guilty just because one party says so.

quote:

In order for Mills' second degree battery charge to stick, Moore said his office had to prove that Mills had a desire to inflict serious bodily injury to the female victim. “I have to prove that any defendant has the specific intent to cause anyone of those injuries or conditions," Moore said. "In this case, I cannot.”

And back to my first point, "No shite" Jalen is happy he is playing even if he is guilty or not. Simple to understand.

Les has final say in handing out schollies. 3* from Texas, starts as a true frosh, has a subpar sophomore year and switches to safety. Looks like a beast there. Maybe he's happy because they stuck with him even when he wasn't playing at his best even when other bcs winning programs weren't knocking down his door for his signature.

And your first post said no shite he's happy, he's been accused of battery against a women and didn't miss pt. Alluding to that he should have. Maybe word your posts differently so you don't come off like a jack arse.
