So the accusation is enough?

Thats exactly why the law and all legal proceedings should be concluded first.

I think he going to be arraigned in Oct. The media vultures should be out in the next few weeks.

They should, but the media won't let them. I think Les is going to be put into a big time corner with this where anything less than a full year's suspension (or dismissal) will be unacceptable in their eyes.

If Mills punched a woman then obviously you can't condone that behavior. However this is an exceptionally bad time to be involved in some sort of domestic altercation if you're a football player (see Rice and OU Freshman RB). Just my opinion - The last game we see Mills is Auburn. Too many people will be out for blood for Les to not do anything

Innocent till proven guilty still applies I believe. Ask any cop about domestic violence situations, they hate them because so many times it is BS.

Now having said that no man should use violence against a female in anyway, period, no excuse. Not much of a man in my opinion.

Let's analyze this sentence for a couple seconds.

First, let's look at your use of the word "accused." You did not use the word "convicted." because . . . he hasn't been convicted. He is merely accused. However, in this great country, we have the presumption of innocence, even if you would rather ignore that presumption.

Second, let's look at your failure to use the word "misdemeanor." He is accused of a "misdemeanor." He is not accused of a felony. There are difference rules in the world of LSU and in the world of criminal law for misdemeanors and felonies.

Third, let's look at your use of the word "lawfully." Why did you choose that word to modify the word “accused”? Is there the possibility of being "unlawfully" accused? Are some people leaning toward the possibility that he was wrongfully accused? Or is it that, perhaps, you think the accusation needs to be bolstered with the addition of "lawfully." Which brings me to the heart of this paragraph, why did you feel the need to bolster the accusation?

I/we don't know what happened so I do understand but we all know that if he didn't play for LSU you all would label him a thug and if Les coached for another team he would be a scumbucket win at all cost coach to you all.

Hope he isn't proven guilty or this thread could look really shitty in the future.

just like I don't know what happened neither do you, so I would just be careful in praising Mills and Les before the matter is resolved huh?

Finally, I hope he didn't hit the girl like the rest of you.

Dude, I was on the side of ZIMMERMAN in the Tavon Martin case.

So, don't give me the "I know what you would say" horseshite

You are free to check my post history. I am very consistent in NOT jumping to conclusions without regard to how it affects my "side" or "team"

I don't see anyone praising Mills, and as for Les the resolution is irrelevant: whether Mills turns out to be guilty or innocent, the appropriate thing for Miles to have done is waited until it was resolved and we found out what really happened.

So you hope he's guilty, or is your deep-rooted love for this particular thread truly genuine?

I know not all see it thay way but I look through clear not purple and gold glasses and just attempt to show the irrational LSU fans their bias sometimes. (in criminal manners like this should you have a bias for the accused even if you do not know what happened or know the accused perpetrator or victim personally?)

I am not certain I understand the question completely. But:

1) Yes. One should have a "bias" toward the accused in case like this. The burden of proof is ALWAYS on the 'prosecution'.

2) This is a misdemeanor case. That is not GOOD. But, it is hardly something to go off over.

3) There is an actual case being presented that he is actually innocent...not JUST presumed. He will have his chance to argue that point.

Even the accusation is NOT in the same league as Ray Rice.

"Man you take the prize for idiot of the day"

Idiot or rational poster of the day?

Guarantee there are plenty others out there reading this who agree with me or at least see my point but know they will get taken down by you all who really think Les is infallible.

Again I hope he is innocent also but if he is proven guilty who is going to be more of an idiot, Les, Jalen or you?
