OP, you could’ve made some legit points as to why you aren’t happy with BK, but you just chose not to.

You left off the main problem with CBKs teams since at LSU, which is lack of physicality especially on the defensive side of the ball. These dudes are soft compared to the hard nosed, knock your freaking lights out type of players back in the Miles/Saban eras.

You paying that 50+ million dollar buyout? Bk's seat is cold af unless he goes 6-6 or worse.

This could be a BK problem but I think it's more of an issue of less talent on that side of the ball as well as the result of rule changes.
A kid today didn't grow up playing football the same way as a kid like Devin White did.

My thought was if Les and O could win titles here, certainly BK would. But the landscape with NIL and transfer portal run amuck is so different than it was back then in many and varied ways and not all as conducive to giving all the advantages LSU once had.
So I do think he's a good coach, but given the above and given that it really took him longer than it should have to adjust to the culture and how to best maximize the advantages still inherent - I've been a bit disappointed.
But this year will be his most talented team overall, I don't even think that's debatable. And he's had time to cull the staff to best maximize these things and bring in some good folks there. Let's see what he does with this.

This take could have been written in 1969.

I down voted you.
CBK is our coach and I support him. We have had good offenses and weak defenses so far, and he is recruiting Dline recruits HS that give me hope we will return to LSU standards on D soon.

Your stupid ! Stupid stupid stupid to throw away a season because you
Lose the opener ! Especially when everything is still in front of you with a talent roster ! LSU might lose to Clemson so what! So what ! You still have everything else in front of you I swear you
Pussies give up to easy ala baseball ! I’m sure you were one of them giving up on the baseball team after they got run ruled by northwestern! GTFOH will you!

Bebe’s teams were well coached? Well coached on defense by Dave Aranda after he left what happened the dude couldn’t find anyone to coach defense that was worth a damn! And all he gave a shite about was running staying in shape himself and chasing big titty blondes ! GTFOH!

My biggest CBK gripe is his teams aren’t tough enough sometimes - LSU football is known for it.
Hoping it’s different this season

quote:okay, sure. Fire the coach after losing arguably the hardest game on the schedule. How about if we win out and hoist that CFP trophy? We still firing him bc he lost the opener?
If we lose to Clemson then I think it’s time for us to reshuffle the deck and move on from CBK

I wish you losers would eat each others shite and die.

Neither O nor Les would succeed in today's game.
And I have no dislike for either.

CBK is DiNardo. Gets the guys, doesn’t get them ready, beats some teams he’s not suppose to, loses to teams he’s suppose to beat. Same cycle different year.

Our coach before that was a cartoon character - he ate grass and that guy also won us a national championship.
Les Miles was a very successful head coach before coming to LSU. At LSU, he won a national title, and four years later, played for another one. He was sliding in his last three years, but he was a very good coach.

quote:Les is 10,000 times the coach O is. We'll take luck all day and O was lucky. No sustainability at all by him. After the 19 season, he was the same guy he had always been. Les was a couple of unlucky breaks from challenging Saban as the best coach at the time in college football.
Neither O nor Les would succeed in today's game.
