2007 LSU-Virginia Tech from Death Valley

Just watching the intro to the game alone gives you chills. This is college football. Games played on campus.

Alleva, wake the frick up. You want butts in the seats?

Stop taking away big-time home games and moving them to NFL stadiums.

It's really becoming quite a joke. One every once in a while is cool but there is no reason to buy season tickets anymore because you're spending the cost of those tickets to go see the best games in Houston New Orleans etc

In the decade of 2011-2020, here is the long list of out of conference Power 5 teams that will have visited Tiger Stadium:

Washington
Syracuse
Texas

From 2001-2010:

Oregon State
Arizona
Virginia Tech
West Virginia
--Arizona State would've as well, but hurricanes

I've given up on this administration. They are absolutely tone deaf. See the hiked up fees, concessions, taking away parking. They're acting like we're in our 2000s prime and can do whatever they want. They don't realize they're going to have to start compromising with the average fan to build themselves back up. It's honestly infuriating.

I love the big non-conference games early in the season.

I hate that they are played on a neutral field.

I agree with your message but neutral site games are money makers and grow the brand. That’s what they care about.

I liked them when they first started. Go travel to see us take on someone we haven't played before.

now that it basically makes up the meat of our non conference schedule and they're in one of the 3 same cities every year? Pass.

Lambeau was a cool trip because it was a chance to see LSU play in a historic venue.

The neutral site BS is becoming like a week 1 bowl game and we are losing all of the games that would be legendary years later. Just imagine if we played a home and home with Oregon, Wisconsin, FSU, etc

Those would be the games that live on forever and probably bring life back to the stadium

But nope

I will say I'm pretty pumped about our upcoming series against Texas, UCLA, and Arizona State. I'm mostly just still salty we've been denied chances to visit Autzen, Camp Randall, and now Doak Campbell

But it is also expected that LSU will play like LSU, not like Les-U like they did at Lambeau. He wrote his own ticket out, of course it was for him win/win given the buyout and all.

Did you ever notice that even the mighty Bama plays at a neutral site for openers?

Honestly the fans could boycott and no one would show up but the payout would still be worth it because of the deal they cut with TV.

I’m sure their fans feel the same way as everyone else does on this issue.

Regardless, when you're consistently winning titles you can probably give a "deal with it" to the fans. LSU has been mediocre for quite a while, so they probably shouldn't be continually crapping on the base.
