Not all will make it here obviously. But here is a look. With the latest draft predictions for the freshman .

Ben Kudrna
RHP Overland Park KS
6-3 195
Big Athletic with plenty of room to grow. Fastball to 93 with plenty room to strengthen that . Change up is very polished & he can spot it well. Short breaking slider which has flashed potential . Stock has been skyrocketing lately .
Mlb has him projected to go 46th overall. Tough pull.

Brock Selvidge
LHP Chandler AZ
6-3 205
Big strong guy, #1 pitcher in AZ
AZ Gatorade player of the year in covid shortened 2020 year.
Fastball to 90 which will continue to improve. Sharp breaking Swing and miss slider.Good 3 picth mix. Improved dramatically over the year.
Mlb has him projected to go 131st overall

Cade Lansville
RHP Centennial Co
6-0 205
Fastball upper 80's,low 90's can touch 93-94. Curveball rivals anybody in the class. Hides the ball well & creates deception. Changeup hits around 82 and can be developed further. Good student. Is practicing in Arizona with fellow pitching commit Brock Selvidge. Mlb has him projected to go around 160-165 overall

Grant Fontenot
RHP Lafayette, La
6-3 215
FB stays around 91, hitting 94-95 occasionally. Firm tight slider that hits in low to mid 80's
Very good mechanics .
MLB has him projected to go 162-182

Grant Taylor
Rhp Florence Al
6-3 220
Fastball up to 94 with solid placement . Can spot fastball to either side. Hard slider with very late bite. Has good command of a slow breaking curve (11/5 break). Excellent student 3/1 so to walk ratio. MLB has him going in mid 200's overall

Samuel Dutton
RHP Rainbow City Al
5-11 185
Up tempo delivery, fast worker, fastball hits 90 with some run. Curveball has depth. Will flash occasional changeup at 81mph.
Excellent student.
Someone can correct me if im wrong but MLB doesnt have him listed in thier top 250

For reference points, MLB has listed the following overall

Marceaux at 90
Hill anywhere from 5-36
Bossiere 159
Dugas 194
Gio 396

Juco pitchers (i will update more info later)

Jason Bollman RHP
3.5/1 SO/Walk ratio
221 Batting average against
3.97 ERA

Dawson Gause RHP
2/1 SO/Walk Ratio
213 Batting Average against
4.86 ERA

Paul Gervase RHP
5/1 SO/Walk ratio
157 Batting Average against.
1.66 ERA

Slot Values:

Kudrna - 46) Mets: $1,617,400

Selvidge - 131) Dodgers: $430,800

Lansville - 160) Padres: $324,100

Fontenot - 182) Blue Jays: $268,200

Taylor - 250) Padres: $163,900

These aren't set in stone, as each team has a total bonus pool to draw from, but it's a decent reference. Edited for formatting because holy frick that came out looking bad

Selvidge and Lansville have become good buddies. Both are working out in Arizona together. Hope & Pray that they want to stay together a bit longer

I imagine Kudnah is gone gone gone

But under 500k andnit get at least questionable

This is not life changing money when you take into account how poorly the salary is in Minors.

If you can come to college and bump your signing bonus up a few rounds you definitely make more money than you would in salary playing Minor League ball.

The issue is injuries. frick up your elbow and you could end up fricked.

I’ve been thinking over it a little more and I want Fontenot in the pen. I don’t think people remember how inconsistent and bad we were on the back end this year. I know we need starters but I want a solid guy to count on the last inning or two. We will be scoring runs and early in games. I think it’s going to be really important to finish them.

Is Gavin Guidry from Barbe not an incoming Freshman? He's a pitcher no?

Selvidge is a definite get. Need more lefties, and he's the only one listed.

I think Stovall is less likely to make it to campus than Walker, but you never know

So wait, we recruited these guys right out from under the noses of Jay Johnson and Jason Kelly?!

Jesus, no wonder they jumped at the chance to come coach at LSU. If they're track records are legit we should have a top 5 class every year.
