Honestly, though. A nice big serving of humble pie was probably exactly what this whole team needed. Coaches and players. It's pretty clear they thought they were going to come out and just walk over these first 3 teams because of last year's success.

If the first game wasnt a big serving of Humble Pie I dont know what is? But they let it go on. There is a little heart or desire being shown to improve things.

Only thing I have heard is O taking shots at Aranda.

Completely accurate. He totally quit on one of TD passes. Guy ran right behind him and he didn’t even try to make a play. More going on than just bad coaching.

If you watch the game objectively you’ll see Stingley half arse try to tackle the running back a few times.

Can't believe our fans are that clueless. Some of you are like Herbie and completely did not watch the games, however painful it may have been. Stingley has made plenty of tackles or bigger players.

He is a complete DB and sticks his nose in there for any tackle in his area.

Someone should tell Herbstreit this is offensive to black athletes and watch how quickly he folds

WOW you right wing nut jobs get in an uproar when a white brethren acknowledges racial discrimination against African Americans exists. Next you'll be calling them nig#@&r lovers like they did the whites who protested alongside blacks during the Civil Rights era. I guess you consider him a race traitor for having the nerve to believe blacks should be treated as equals to whites.

Kirk needs to quit blasting the athletes and take shots at some of these Bo Zo coaches.

It’s hilarious to me how these mouthpieces scream from the roof tops about we need to pay these players, but then bash them when they have incompetent coaching making $2mil per year and won’t say nothing about that.

Wrong again Herbie, just like almost every decision you made as a below average NFL QB.

He's one of the few our there trying but you know your audience doesn't know any other names so you crap on DS24 because it sells.

You could tell that he could barely make cuts on the field. It was like he had to jog.

Racial discrimination against all races exists. Blacks aren’t special.

My comment was in defense of a a black guy being derided by a white guy, idiot.

you would think after giving up over 600 yards passing that it would have lit a fire under all of their asses. I guess we’ll see if over 600 yards to Missouri does anything

Yeah I dont agree with that take. Stingly missed one tackle I remember and he was in a bad position to make the play. He saved tons of big plays even with a sprained ankle, he is 1 of the 3 good players we have out there.

Stingley’s father on OTB this morning. “I asked Derek at halftime if he was going to be able to play. He said dad I’m in a ton of pain but I’m going to go out there and fight for my brothers like they would do for me.”

It's pathetic that "fans" are shitting on Stingley right now. A lesser player would have sat out the rest of the game. This shows just how much character & heart this kid has.

A ton of Saints fans did the same to Alvin Kamara last season as his play fell off while playing through an injury. Now he is back healthy again this season. He looks amazing & fans are back saying how great he is. Some people are just flat out dumb.

It's not a swipe. I kinda agree. He is soft. Great at covering and catching. He is a really good runner and very smart, but does not possess the killer mentality.

There was some dumb arse on the Scoreboard Saturday saying Stingley is soft because he has too many romantic pictures on Instagram with his girlfriend.

I don’t think it’s Stingley or any one individual. This defense is soft as a whole. I’m not sure what the hell contributed to this but I think I know exactly who can fix this. Bring Devin White back here to talk with these young guys and let him get on the practice field and show these youngsters how business is done. I think LSU was a bit soft on D last year until the end of the year when they were challenged. They need to be called out and challenged and not by the coach because they hear him everyday. It needs to be by the SEC, the public and by other past players. People that will impact them. Someone who will open their eyes and give that pride back. If not team pride then self pride that turns into team pride. But it needs to be team oriented. Bring my boy White back and school these boys on D!!!

Seems as shitty as we are playing, the last thing a coach needs is for parents to be talking to their kids at halftime.

Just how stupid are you? If his dad was near the tunnel as the team headed to the locker room, this conversation could have been had within just a few seconds. It's not uncommon for college players to speak their parents this way going into halftime. Sometimes parents even make their way in the stands behind the team bench to check on their injured child. People like you love to make a mountain of a molehill.
