Espn planned to have Stanford (#19? Sure) replace the trojans this year, but they got smoked. Darn.

So just because somebody plays in the west, they're no good? I was the only one besides ESPN that thought Stanford looked good this year and still think they're very, very good?

the bottom line is that herbstreit is probably picking us to lose to uf and that is exactly what we will be ranked if we do.

I don't understand the hate for Herbie. I don't doubt one bit that Miles was going to Michigan. At the time, there was virtually no chance for us going to the BCS championship. If the story is not leaked, and we don't play in the championship, he would have been gone. His info wasn't wrong...just early. Also, quit bitching when national people say the same negative things that we do. Do you really believe lsu is the 9th best team in the nation? Right now I don't. I believe we can be, but not now

Where'd he have Texas ranked and what does that say about where their program is headed?

and a couple of the computers have lsu ranked at number 1 and 2.

unlike **** little herbstreit, these computers realized that we're the only team who beat 2 out of conference top 25 teams and 3 SEC teams. so herbstreit could frick the frick off. geaux to hell with your stupid arse direction of the program bullshite. frick you

ETA: in no way do i think lsu should be in the top 2. but it pisses me off that that little prick says that. im sure finebaum sucked his dick for saying it. herbstreit is a know it all prick

Almost anyone you see on CBS and ESPN that has anything to do with college football is either on Paul show or the Opening Drive with Jay Barker and Al Del Greco.

I hate LSU fans who refuse to acknowledge that it's at least plausible that LSU may not be as good as their current ranking.

It makes all LSU fans look like idiot Bama fans.

cbhughes: I can't stand Herby either, but statements like this from national media, whether we like it or not (and you may disagree) hurt recruiting.

Since when does getting picked to be in the top 20 nationally hurt your recruiting? Especially if it is by some guy who hates your school?

LSU will be fine in recruiting. Name recognition is important with kids, and LSU has and will be mentioned prominantly in national media all year.

Finebaum hates LSU and Les Miles. If you listen to his program it is one of his many agendas. Herbie know this because he is on the show regularly.
