lsuCow, that's truly an amazing story and one that I am sure you will be telling the rest of your life. So did you go to all the games back then and wear the suit for every game?

I do love telling that story. I am up in South Bend now, you would think people at Notre Dame would understand football, but no, it is nothing like LSU up here. So I have to tell this story and about tiger stadium. (ND could have beat Michigan with a bluegrass miracle-like play, but the dumbass tried to run out of bounds from the middle of the field, wasting all the clock on the last play, instead of falling to a knee and calling the timeout - like Michael Clayton did. You would think the athletes at ND would be smarter than LSU players, but no)

I was in the band in 2002 so went to all the homegames with a tuba and wore the cow suit to each away game, in 2003 on I went to all of the games as a fan. I had other costumes too: speedracer (2003) and the indian (2004).

So that was one of your group LSUcow?

That was me too. Cowsuit + trombone; they had a short article in the advocate about it.

I was at Arizona and remember that. I wouldn't say you played all the songs perfectly, but it was definitely a pick me up and got the fans going. Glad you were there.

The LSU Elvis is a guy named Beau Bennett. His sister Meg played soccer for LSU. I think he went on to become a priest, but I'm not sure.

What's sad is that they were ready to storm the field after beating us. We weren't exactly world beaters at the time.

I guess we were the defending SEC Champions. Plus, we had done the same thing 2 years earlier against MSU and UT.
