I wouldn’t do it when my main rival is probably the most known school to do it and it is a major part of their look. Comes off as trying to be like your big brother.
Like if LSU started wearing numbers on their helmets again. I know they did it a couple years ago and I liked the look but if it were to be a permanent change seems kind of like you are trying to be Bama.

I dont think I have ever seen this board in so much agreement.
Helmet stickers should stay where it is a long standing tradition, i.e. OSU / big 10 schools in general. It is not something that you can just introduce at this point and have people get on board.
For recognition thats where other things come into play, i.e. turn over chains type things which I think people would agree are super played out.
At LSU our recognition comes in the form of jersey numbers, which are highly controversial also lol.
