It would be idiotic for Tennessee to build a large stadium like us just the same as it would idiotic for us to try and match RupP arena

But go find any ranking of college stadiums done by outsiders that have been to all of the big programs parks, and Alex Box rarely finishes outside the top 2 or 3.
sure i’d love to be #1 and we may regain that in the near future.
but to hear people talk and you’d swear we were playing in pre-renovation Wrigley when chunks of concrete was falling into the stands.

If we’re so great we can afford to have a real batters eye and something other than the cheap, shitty bleachers in left field that were installed in the original Box 30 years ago. Not the same brand, not the same design, the literal same set of bleachers.
That doesn’t even get into all the things that could be done to actually improve things, those are just some easy things that could be done to not look like cheap asses.

Tennessee isn’t building anything but possibly a new stadium. LSU and UF are loading back up and building some maturity.
