He averaged 3.3 yards per rush & ran it 140 times this year. He is not an elite runner. LSU did make him look elite tho

Yeah, he has improved a ton. I don't think I've seen someone turn it around so fast in a season. He will be good next year.

Just because he carved up LSU's barely existing defense that doesn't make his running ability "elite." It is not.
He's an average-pretty good QB. He will continue to be an average-pretty good QB

It's so dumb. Another reason to dislike this defense this year. I told my dad before the game. We are going to make Monroe look like a Heisman contender and the game allowed his momentum to snowball into a Heisman campaign. Then he throws a lucky Hail Mary on 4th and spy and a backdoor into the CFP that will snowball him into the early conversation next year.

I guess they can just give out the awards in the beginning of the season, it's not like stats are a factor. Just let the draft analyst decide who gets what award.
