You must have forgotten how the Guidry injury started and was first reported. He was slated to start but was a late scratch because he didn’t feel right when he woke up. Then he was day to day. Then, after 2 months of wild speculation on this board (some going as far as alleging he had sex with a coach’s daughter and was secretly suspended), it was revealed he was going to have surgery and miss the entire season. Lot of the same posters making up non-sensical stories about Jay, Guidry, and what was really going on, not the logical conclusion that he was just fricking hurt.

I want to be pissed at Schmidt for obviously making a “business decision” but can you really blame him?
Season has been a lost cause since the Ole Miss sweep. Why would you put anything at risk for next year?
