There is your clue. He attributes Burrows success to "feeling clean in the pocket".

He's trying to get in Joey Footballs head, indicating that the Florida Dline will make him "feel unclean in the pocket"?

Ok, Oline... Keep Burrow clean!

Every talking head has identified protecting Burrow as the single most important aspect of this game...because if it happens, there really isn't any way Florida wins.

UF needs to worry about their statue QB more than Burrow

They scored 24, at home, with two huge plays of 80 and 60 + yards. TS will be rocking and LSU will score points.

UF pressure or not

Joe Biden got in trouble for saying Obama was “clean”. I guess it’s ok to say it now.

Florida and their false bravado b/s. LSU ain't Auburn and Joe Barrow ain't Bo Nix. IMO Auburn's O/L did a good job protecting Bo Nix but dang Nix kept handing the fricking football back to Florida especially towards the end as Auburn was surging. I'm thinking that won't happen with Joe. If our O/L can provide good protection and keep Florida from hurting Joe......he'll pick them Gators apart. Hey, this is the kind of game Joe Burrow relishes. Ice Man Burrow.

The only real threat I'm concerned about? Some Florida player taking a cheap shot at Joe to take him out of the game. I hope LSU assigns someone to shadow Joe every moment he's on that field.

Bottom line....I hope it's a clean game....and nobody gets seriously hurt.

These two teams don't like each other.

Geaux Tigahs!!

Once Burrow burns Florida's arse 2 or 3 times Grantham will have to recalibrate his thought process. Burrow ain't your typical QB, he's going to burn you if he can read what you're doing. You can bet all you have he's done a shite ton of film study on Florida this week.

Last guy that tried that it didn’t end up so well for him or his team as Burrow carved them up. See UCF

Grantham will attempt to confuse JB on where the extra rusher will come from. I personally think that LSU hasn't shown the screen game yet. If they can block UF they won't show it this week. If they struggle to protect JB, the screen game gets unveiled this week.

Ok, Oline... Keep Burrow clean!

Yet Burrow leads the entire country in passer rating when under pressure.

(Stolen from the PFF thread)
quote:

Much like we saw from Tagovailoa in 2018, Burrow currently ranks in the top five in terms of passer rating from the following categories: under pressure (1st), kept clean (5th), with play-action (4th), without play-action (4th) and on deep passes (2nd). To boot, he’s the national leader in adjusted completion percentage (84.9%) among the 87 quarterbacks with at least 115 attempts.
