I only heard the last part of that on 104.5.
Boston College might show interest since his brother was the QB there.

I'm not understanding it. I won't go as far as others and pin it on TigerLee, but why is it that Rivers and Rettig weren't given a chance, but Randall (sp?), Shepard, Bolden were? It isn't that many people, but why is it that everytime a (not trying to imply racism or be racist), white QB leaves, Garrett, Rivers, Rettig, people think he wasn't given a chance?
Obviously all these guys got a chance, and eventually failed. Rivers is the only one who was even second string and that was more because Randall was behind him. Rivers is going to continue being a backup at Vandy. Randall is no better than third right now at Arizona. Garrett got fat and never did anything. Shepard never threw a pass, and practiced at QB all of a couple months. Rettig had a hard time transferring from high school offense, and was probably never going to play unless two injuries occurred. Bolden was nothing but depth to begin with and was fourth string at best here.
They might be better on other teams, but then again, none have. I do believe Rettig is the only one who might though.

This is just such an head in your arse statement as can be. Do people really believe that Miles would not play a QB because he is white? Just me, but I wouldn't want to jeopardize my multi million dollar salary on the premise of race. Got a feeling that he plays the QB that he feels Gives him the best chance to win. Now I may disagree at times on his choice...

I agree, but the reality is a bunch of our fans really want the QB to be white.

And I think the whole idea of "getting a chance" is by playing some meaningful game time, which obviously depends on the starter not playing well at the time. A couple games early in Mett's 2nd season I wished someone got a "chance" since it appeared that he had his bell rung pretty good. And when we are playing scrub teams it is really disappointing to see the starters play 3.5 quarters because they are going through the motions or the play calling just sucks, although I feel worse for the O-Line who could use some time off.
