Russell Wilson is an average QB who does a good job of running the offense and not making mistakes. Seattle has a great defense and good running game. He rarely throws for over 250yds.

I'm not going through the entire thread but, does this change play calling? Limit the option runs due to fear of losing one of only two scholarship QBs?

I hope it does. None of these guys are Cam Newton or Logan Thomas. Hell, even Miller's big arse gets hurt a lot. If these guys are the sliders, we should be fine. If not, I hope for Harris to gain at least 10 more pounds and Jennings should be well enough at 220. We don't know exactly how tough these guys are. Manziel used to get crushed routinely and pop back up.

I wonder if Bergeron goes to #3 QB?

So you'd rather have single threat Peyton Manning who falls apart in the big game? Brady didn't win those first couple Super Bowls by himself. He was surrounded by talent. Stop being a dumbass.

Also about your other joke of a post, Both Rodgers and Brees can run.

The best QB's are dual threat---Manning,Brady,Brees and Rodgers.

Rodgers is a dual threat and Brees was a dual threat coming out of college. They use their legs to set up the pass, but Rodgers uses his legs often and Brees uses it to escape pressure.

The new wave QBs are dual threats:

Luck, Wilson, Kap, Cam, RG3, etc. In the NFL, you try to avoid hits to extend your career due to the 16+ brutal games. That isn't near the issue against college athletes.

yes

He averaged 5.5 ypc his senior year, despite sacks, on his way to his 2nd heisman final.

14 rushing touchdowns. Pretty explosive, especially for a qb, better vertical than Jarvis and did very well in the quickness drills

One of the reasons he dropped was that people didn't know if his style of play would translate to a pro style offense

I'm impressed

900 career rushing yards at Purdue

There's some cool highlights out there from his Purdue days. Even a touchdown catch or two.

The smart ones adjust their game. It works in college when you only pay 6-8 good teams and they are more athletic than most of the players on the field

Wilson is going to be good because he uses his legs to extend plays and throw deep.

really would have liked a pure pocket passer under Cam....Harris a pure pocket passer but Miles will force him into being somewhat of a dual threat QB

How about, just be a damn good QB? Period.

I don't care if they're single threat, dual threat(it's "dual", not "duel" people) or triple or quadruple threat.

Harris will be exactly what he was in high school. A pocket passer with great esacpability. which is exactly what he was recruited to do.

Good luck Rettig! Who needs a duel threat QB with the running backs we have. Les may end up regretting this!

it seems like just because he's black some posters here think he's going to be like jordan jefferson.

JJ WISHES he had half the character and talent Brandon Harris possesses
