Let's hope those guys hire a stout personal trainer this off season.

Hawkins is graduated so he had no real reason to come back. Whether he's a 2nd round pick or 6th round pick he's about to get paid.

The thing about Hawkins is that I believe he graduated.

Still, begin drafted in the 2nd or 3rd vs. the 6th or 7th could be the difference in having a 4-5 year career instead of a 2 year career.

The left side was a liability in the passing game all season. Not surprised at the grade

He graduated college, will get drafted in the NFL( probably not where he had hoped) but drafted none the less. Make at least the league minimum practicing football for a couple of years. Not a bad gig. I understand wanting more, what football player doesn't want to be a star? But if it doesn't work out in the league there's the CFL if wants a career playing football. Again, not a bad gig. It's just a matter of how humble he is.

i'm curious as to how you know this for a fact.

also, it's not all on the "teacher"; the student has to learn also. maybe he didn't put enough time in the weight room. I am not saying this is fact but I haven't heard anything bad about Moffit.

That's the problem. All the talk about Moffit is just talk. The results are easy to observe. We are supposed to be a physical team and we get pushed around year after year by Bama and Ark. Add that to very few of our players running or lifting well at the combine and you have a disturbing trend. S&C needs some fresh blood with some new practices because the same old stuff Moffit roles out is not getting it done.

this I didn't know. I hate to take your word for it (no offense) but if true Miles needs to do something about it.

Yeap, we get pushed around at end of season and a lot of players have had poor combine showings.

Don't recall them all, but def notice some of our supposed strong guys doing very poorly compared to the rest of the field when it comes to lifting at the combine.

Reading that link just tells me our weight and strength training is an issue especially against the three teams we have trouble with every season in the west division. I'm not gonna say the name cause most of Y'all should know this already!
