Well 98 has to be the most disappointing, you're in the driver's seat. Gotta find a way to win one vs USC. That team wins it all in the finale if we had just gotten there.

It was the bottom of the 10th. Ben McDonald was the pitcher and he recently shared how much that affected him and how he came back from it. Pretty awesome listen.

It was a miracle that they got there. The pitching was average. It was one of Skip's best coaching jobs. They didn't fold, they just weren't that good.
