Kid played the Georgia game with a broken leg. Maybe he doesn't have the natural physical tools of some other guys, but he has guts. And anyone who doesn't think he was a key factor in giving JL and JJ time to get up to speed (including removing the pressure of knowing there was nobody to spell them--which I suspect had more to do with JL's struggles than anything after Andrew went down), wasn't paying attention. He deserves the National Championship ring from '07, and the right to be included as part of LSU history. Good luck to him.

Hatch definitely was a key to our season early on. Good luck to him back at Harvard. If he plays ball there I think hell be pretty good and respected for his SEC experience.

Harvard may not consider him a transfer since he was already accepted there and enrolled

+1

probably falls under returning students, or some other similar classification.

Well, you can't win a ring like he got last year by playing at Harvard.

A ring vs. a Harvard degree. Now which would I rather have?

i haven't read everything about hatch in this thread...did he leave disgruntled, or did he just have a desire to go back to harvard?

A healthy Hatch last season and LSU competes for an SEC Championship.

Uh, no.

But thanks for the memories, Hatch. The option has never looked better!

I have the utmost respect for Hatch ... he showed much more class than many on this board. If you don't like him being at LSU, don't blame him. Given the opportunity, who on here wouldn't have jumped at the opportunity to play for the Tigers?

Good luck Andrew, where ever you end up. Maybe we'll see you walking the sidelines again as a coach one day.

Yes, I know what I posted. But actually you've posed a tough question:

A degree that will go miles, career wise, just on its name alone or a roster spot on something as special as a BCS national championship team.

I will miss Hatch. Tough kid who stuck it out and did what was asked of him. Good luck to Andrew Hatch in his future endeavors

hatch was smart enough to start at the sec, but he wasn't talented enough to start for an entire season. he'll play well at harvard, get his ivy degree, find some cushy wall street job, and bang lots of hos. not a bad life at all.

The replies I glanced over on this topic seem to be about Hatch leaving. Well, I'm happy for him and it was a smart decision - he sees the superior talent we have at QB here now and knows he wouldn't get to play much, if any at all.

The most important thing to me in the subject of this post is Black/Scott returning, that is awesome news.
