If the execution order was signed on 10/6/26 why are we waiting until 12/3/26? Is there something significant about that date?

Even the military's courts are infested with the same slow, incumbered and infested with procedural nonsense that drag these things out for years. There was never any doubt at all. He was caught in the act of murdering his fellow soldiers in the name of his religion. He should have been executed in a matter of days not years.

I could be wrong, but I don’t believe even Boasberg has any jurisdiction where UCMJ is concerned.

Fair amount of coordination needed... Ft. Hood had a correctional facility but was closed down in 2011 (along with many others like Ft. Sill). The murderous traitor, corrections officers and NCO's, all have to be transported from Leavenworth to Texas.....in secret for obvious reasons. Secure transport, housing for troops, takes some effort.
