playing a bunch of cupcakes, wait till SEC opens up

Lol no. Jay still finding the right line up

quote:Exactly. Under Jay, LSU has gotten on base a shite ton, resulting in the total number of LOB higher than you'd like. Still, statistically, we do an pretty good job of getting runners in:
Runners left on base, without context, is not that statistic you think it is.

If tweet fails to load, click here. People love to look at the innings where we leave the bases loaded, but ignore the innings where we have no one on and two outs, and string together a series of hits to put up 5 or 6 runs.
The more you get on base, the more you will leave on base.

Guess you aren’t in the game threads OP. All people do is bitch and complain about every aspect of the team so far.

We haven't peaked at all.

I just don’t even know how to process this statement.

OP- “We’re playing too well, let’s find a way to make that a negative”
Posted on 3/3/25 at 1:58 pm to Tigersince99
This is fresh. Old, but fresh.

This is a new approach. Is there anyone here even dreams a baseball team is playing peak ball prior to having any sweat stains on their hats? Jesus

We haven't peaked until we have our weekend pitching rotation down and have solidified the outfield spot that's between Pearson ,brown, and Larson.
We also have to decide who we will dh when facing lefties and who will dh against righties.
Frey is a good dh but Pearson needs to play and Jake brown needs to play. Then you have Larson who is basically about the same as Pearson

People think if they aren’t facing an SEC team then they are automatically a cupcake lol

This is a silly question to put it politely. How would one even know if we have peaked?

Somebody says this every year at this time. It's March fricking 3rd and cold. Still haven't seen all the arms yet, and wait till it warms up and the wind is blowing out. Nobody has the talent depth that we do.
