Where I live we don’t have cable as an option. The day I moved in Direct TV was supposed to come out to install, they never showed up and didn’t return my calls. Called Dish and they came out right away and I have loved it since.

I want to know how you operate on a day to day basis without internet? My father in law is almost 70 and does nothing but watch the news and tend to his cows, and he even requires internet every now and then. Some bills are only payable online. A lot of businesses are unlisted and their info can only be found online. I don't understand this.

I switched to Dish about a year ago and more and more I’m realizing it was the better choice. And I’m paying about half the price for pretty much the same channel lineup.

I called ATT to complain yesterday, and they told me that a decision won’t be made until the last week of this month so it WILL NOT AFFECT today’s game. It’s still a complete BS situation .

Hulu is good. Better video and DVR quality than ATT. Anyone effected can sign up for Hulu for free for a week.

This guy sounds like he knows what he’s talking about. I found him quoted in an ABC article. Looks like they keep extending their deadline to negotiate.

And another person talked to them yesterday and told them it would be shut off at 4:30ish central yesterday.
Then another person talked to them and they said it wouldn't be shut off at all.
So basically, everybody that talks to them is getting a different story.
