LSU replaced all but 1 starter. Why does everyone expect us to be great?

Is not losing three series in a row, two at home, great?

Definitely sucks. Issue I see with this team is inconsistency. Only experience will help that, IMO.

Still think LSU has done well this year considering everything they lost.
The RPI is still at 15

Yup completely agree. However, it isnt that we are losing games, but how.

man, you are forgiving.

other than the vandy series LSU hasn't done anything out of the expected. they simply lose a different way a lot. we have lost series to bama, aggie, msu, ole miss and we're 5th in the west.

while I think they have hit well considering everything they lost, their shortcomings on defense and esp base running has been way below expectations imo. and certainly you are correct on the pitching.

also, this team has had more than it's share of "bad breaks". all close plays seem to go to the opponent and the errors happen at the wrong time. the gods of baseball have shat on our Tigers in a year we need them on our side.

We could definitely miss a regional with a 14-16 SEC record. We had an RPI of freaking 22 a few years ago and didn't make it.

We had an RPI of 25, and we didn't go to a regional because we missed the SECT. Get a grip.

Which pissed our fans off because of that year that State made the postseason over us when they missed the SECT, and we made it. It is good to have your AD on the selection committee, I suppose.

The sooner CPM realizes that building the team in his image, with a bunch of little guys, doesn't work, the better.
