I feel like this the first time in the History of the rant NO ONE is starting posts about why we don't get the backup in more, just in case we need him later?

Harris needs to play in garbage time until he feels really confident in the offense. He needs the live reps. Jennings has had plenty of live reps. He will be fine (relatively speaking) if called upon due to injury.

Because no one wants to see him under center again. EVER

Have another down vote.

First off... Brandon Harris needs reps to improve on several things before we get to the difficult part of the schedule.

Secondly... If Harris gets hurt and Jennings has to come in there's always the case that he played all of last year

Third... It really doesn't matter how many reps Jennings gets apparently because he actually got worse as the year went on last year. So, if Harris gets hurt and LSU is stuck with Jennings, well they're pretty much fricked anyway because he sucks donkey balls at playing quarterback.

Jennings will get snaps. And frankly, we need him very much. He's a seasoned SEC quarterback who is ready at any minute to step in and start. I feel so much more comfortable about the team's potential with Jennings available at any time.

Would have been nice to see him after we got through dry humping Auburn. It was never really a game. Will we see him at Cuse?

Do you know we televise games now?

With 5 minutes left in the game and a 20+ point lead, it's going to be toss dive left/right. I seriously doubt he's making any reads, pre-snap calls, or adjustments.

He knows how to take snaps and hand the ball off. He doesn't need those reps.

By the same logic, what would be the point of putting in Jennings for these plays?

Really don't need to see him. Seen him enough last year and don't want any flashbacks.

You wouldn't have seen him anyway.

I thought he should have played in the 4th quarter against Auburn.

I honestly think they didn't want to bring him in against Auburn because it was at home and they were concerned about the fan reaction. More likely to see mop up time on the road.
