I'd think we'd at least polish up Jennings in the event Harris gets injured.

What do you think those 12 starts did?

It's the same story with Fournette. I'm pretty sure when the world saw him limping , everyone held their breathe. At that point Miles should have pulled both of them. It was over.

Negative. Harris needs all the snaps he can get in these next 2 games because he has another SEC road game in 3 weeks then UF at home the following week.

Just disagree.

With 5 minutes left in the game and a 20+ point lead, it's going to be toss dive left/right. I seriously doubt he's making any reads, pre-snap calls, or adjustments.

He knows how to take snaps and hand the ball off. He doesn't need those reps.

WTF! Get out of here with this.

The best LSU has played in my lifetime was 2011 and they switched QBs ruining the epic year.

The team has 1 quarterback. The other arrives if he's injured.

When we got the ball back with a little over 5 minutes left we put Brossette in and ran out of the shotgun. That's pretty important in that it gets more young guys a chance to work with the ones before we get to the meat of the schedule. Keeping Harris in is not the same as keeping Fournette in as long as you don't call any QB runs.

I certainly agree with this.

We just all saw our quarterback play last year. If you want to get Brossette reps, then why not do it earlier? He's a good back, so it's not like playing him in the 3rd quarter of a 38-7 game is risky in any way.

We just can't afford to get Harris hurt.

Obviously, past history doesn't have anything to do with this season. But we've seen our starting quarterback miss at least one start in 2001, 2002, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2013. So it can happen. Based on what we saw last year, we are not nearly as equipped to have that happen this season.

Would have been nice to see him after
--------------------------------------------------
Why do people keep saying this as though he has never played a down during a game? They say he needs reps because we may need him. He played all of last year.

He is one of the most experienced back ups in all of CFB after getting all but one start last year. A few mins of mop up duty isn't gonna change his production value if Harris was to go down.

He gets into the group huddles on timeouts and while everyone is listening to the coaches he is staring up at the TV cameras as they float over the team.

Only thing I want to see Jennings doing is handing out the Gatorade

I thought he should have played in the 4th quarter against Auburn.
1) Keeps Harris from injury.
2) Gives Jennings some reps in a game that isn't in doubt.
