Did I read this right - a portion of the buy-out money for Brian Kelly came out of the LSU General Fund?
If this is true, then Govenor Landry is fully justified in stepping in to protect the money dedicated to.......(wait for it)........educating our future leaders.
But then I'm old fashioned - since I believe our FBS I Collegiate Football Programs are now basically semi-pro feeder programs for the NFL.
.....and the NCAA is the NFL's bitch. There, I said it.

I listened to his rant and thought it was a parody on coonasses in charge. Then I realized it was real. Good lord the joke that just keeps on giving. Sounds like y’all elected a fool. Hope the board of cronies has a bit more gray matter.

He's 100% correct, he won't be picking the next coach. The new LSU president will be picking a new AD after Woodward is fired. That person will be picking a new LSU coach.

Who hired Kelly? Who gave him a 10 year guaranteed contract? Given that, should he hire the next coach?
