Has Coach Ensminger been involved with the program this year?

Rewatching the peach bowl and forgot the tragedy with coach E and his daughter in law….

I recall they said he would remain on staff as an analyst or something… not sure if that was real or just being polite.

Maybe he’ll take his time getting back to the program once he’s bored with retirement?

I think he did take an analyst role. He's probably got a more laid back role and just helps out as much as he wants.

He's an offensive analyst.

Ensminger has been a great Tiger as a player and coach. Loyal guy who welcomed Brady in 2019, something a lot of selfish coaches would not have done. He always did whatever was asked of him without complaint. Always wish him the best and hope he continues to have some role around the program.

Say what you want but all of our QBs have been ready to play since he became QB coach. He even got Danny Etling to be serviceable and had 2 true freshman ready to go last year. And he seems to get no credit at all for the insane transformation Burrow made between his first and second year here

Every time you post something it’s stupid shite a dickhead would say. I bet you’re a bad motherfricker aren’t you?

Let me give you a word of advice. The part where op talked about the dil, well that part makes it to where it’s a pos move to say what you said.
You don’t care do you ? Y’all chopique boys dgaf do y’all? Y’all proud of bein from down there , ain’t it?

It’s obvious y’all are proud of that place because there’s about 5 people on this board with your same username or something similar.

Go frick yourself

Ensminger was the one that found Brady with the Saints. Why would he not welcome him to LSU?

I’m fairly certain the analyst title was a way to finish out his contract. I don’t think he’s doing anything with the program at the moment.

Saw him heading into the Football Ops building the other day so he’s definitely doing something.

that’s because he had Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, Marshall, Helaire, and most, if not all of the OL in 2018 and did very little with all that talent.

Only when Brady came did that talent get unleashed.

I mean are we not taking into account that most of them were first time starters and Burrow joined the program very late?

Not saying E is a great coach or anything but it seems experience is worth something. Hell, Chase was only a true freshman in 2018.

I agree with the other poster above though, it's hard to argue the improvement at the quarterback position overall vs what was going on under Miles.

i hear you, but those were spectacular talents. Those types of guys can excel early.

i’m not saying E had zero impact, but it was overwhelmingly Brady’s scheme that unleashed them all.

And look, i really like and respect E (and am old enough to remember his playing days at LSU). But let’s not let our admiration for him cloud our judgment.

E had all that offensive talent and got shut out vs bama. Crazy
