Automated phone machine was no help.. Was curious about whether we will be issued comparable tickets or if we will just get refunded then have to just buy new ones through the Dome?

I had pretty good seats and a sideline pass. I'm sure I won't get another sideline pass but I'd like to have comparable seats.

I contacted Ticketmaster on Twitter and they sent me a DM to confirm my order number and last 4 numbers on the credit card I ordered with. They told me my refund will be there in 3-5 days. This took place an hour ago.

Ticketmaster just told me this on twitter:

Hi! At this time, we have not yet received official information from the promoters. Once we receive confirmation, we will post all information on the event page. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Have a wonderful day! -WM

Got on live chat, their Customer Service line isn't open until 09 CST. This is what she told me.

"Usually, originally purchased tickets are honored for relocated events, postponed to a different time, or rescheduled for a different date. I am sorry that all we can do at this moment is wait for the official update from the event promoter to our company so we can proceed with any refund requests or information on validity and ticket use."

I got this email from LSU last night.

"All tickets and parking passes purchased through the LSU ticket office for the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff will be automatically refunded beginning Tuesday, Aug. 29. Ticketholders can expect to see the balance of their purchase refunded by Sept. 5. Tickets for the game originally scheduled in Houston will not be valid for the game in New Orleans.

Although no specific ticket information has been released for the game in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, the LSU ticket office will work in conjunction with AdvoCare Texas Kickoff officials to set up a purchasing structure for that event. LSU will alert fans when tickets are available and how they can be purchased."

Game will be at 8:30 pm.

I'm hoping that Ticketmaster puts something out soon as I purchased 8 through them and want to know what the deal is before LSU puts tickets on sale

I just talked with them and was told:
quote:

"I am sorry for the delay. I see all tickets for this event will be refunded automatically. You may expect yours in the amount of ______ in the next 5-7 business days."

Just got off the phone with the LSU Ticket Office. The girl I spoke with, Caroline, said that Ticketmaster would handle the distribution of the tickets. My question to her was how would the tickets be prioritized as Joe Alieva stated in his interview this morning? She said, based on whether you bought tickets through lsu for the game in Houston, priority points, season ticket holders, and general public...in that order, you would be awarded an access code via email to input into the ticktmaster purchase of the tickets in the dome. That's all I know; hope it helps. She also said that the tickets would go on sale "sometime later this week." Annoying considering the damn game is in 5 days..........cluster f@#$%*

I just spoke with Ticketmaster and the lady did say that if you purchased through them that you should call to cancel you order and get refunded. No info yet on purchasing for the Superdome.

I was talking to Ticketmaster this morning and the woman stated refunds will be given if requested if not, the ticketed will be replaced with an equivalent ticket in the superdome.

The refunds from several ticket distributors are a crock - many will not process refunds back until 9/5/17 so you are out the original money you spent until the refund actually process.

I think your information is incorrect. The policy should be/is refund will be credited automatically. You will/should need to buy new tickets for the game in New Orleans. That's the simplest and easiest way to take care of this unfortunate event in streamlined manner.

However, with that being said, I purchased through a friend who went through ticketmaster.com and then sold me the tickets. I just sent him e-mail asking for update on how he expects to get refund.

I'd rather just get similar seats in the Dome but either way I don't give a shite which route they go, they just need to let us know one way or the other before LSU puts tickets on sale. I'm going to be pissed if I end up with double the amount of tickets I need because Ticketmaster is behind on everything.
