Has anyone asked Kiffin about 2-point attempt?

Apologize if this has been discussed. Looked, but didn't see it.
I can't ever remember an LSU coach doing that--- phrase I'm looking forward to being repeatedly being said!---in a blowout. I thought it was great to get practice.
Bonus: did Longstreet field a punt (if so, another modernLSU first...QB fielding a punt)?

Feel like he just wanted to run the play. Moscona mentioned it looks like that’s what he was telling Dabo after the game.

Im thinking at that point he was approaching the game as a rent a win. Lets try some things to see how thry look in game

Moscona said that he was overheard telling Dabo that he did it not out of disrespect but rather as real game practice. If so, other than the optics, it feels like a good idea.

There was a play he wanted to run before starters came out. I think he told Dabo that.
I thought it was a jump ball to Green but he got jammed at the line.

Makes sense. I was just surprised no one said "ONLY Kiffin would try to run up the score like that!"

) Around the middle of Q2 I think they started looking at the game like an NFL pre-season game, i.e. "Let's get our basic stuff nailed down tight and try a few things to see how they work out".
Looking back at the game Lane really didn't do much "exotic" stuff, other than impressive QB runs that he probably didn't call (for the most part).
I'd expect to see more of the same against LaTech, especially clamping down on the running to focus on the passing game. There were WAY too to many dropped balls when the 1's were in. That needs to be cleaned up before the trip to Oxford.

To me it was immediately obvious it was for "practice".

Either way, must be deflating to Dabo that LSU is using their real game as "practice"

Lane probably wanted to practice 2-pt attempt with a real opponent in case he needs to do it later.
