We have lost a bunch of close games and he is recruiting well too
I said I would give it 3 years before I throw him under the bus, but I truly believe we will have a good team next year and be back in the dance

It could mean he has a higher ceiling than Wade.
Wade could bring in good, not great players, and they'd play good, not great. Weren't ever going to go deep in the tourney, because when someone figures out the weak spot he can't address it.
If you give McMahon similar talent (which we aren't at yet), I think he can make some in-game moves that would counter some of those teams. Yes, first you have to build the talent up, for that to be relevant.

Will Wade has Mcnese ranked in his first season and people are still trying to say he can’t coach
People still saying it’s a 3 year rebuild… Will Wade has one of the worst programs in a bad basketball state ranked in year 1. It is absolutely wild how low of expectations McMahon has here. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a LSU coach with this much grace. We fired a football coach 2 years after winning a championship because the program fell off. McMahon is winning participation trophy’s in year 2

Will Wade was one hell of a bag man and great motivator
He was awful at actual play calling and coaching.
And I loved the guy and hate that he is gone, but those are just facts
