Weren't ever going to go deep in the tourney

Wade and his Cowboys will thrust a gargantuan middle finger at LSU this tournament season. I've seen them projected as high as a #6 seed. Want to see this team go a long, long way in the tourney

Not improving fast enough. I don’t see him ever making the tourney to be honest. I hope I’m wrong. I don’t have anything against the guy. He seems like a pretty average coach at best,

Why? What has LSU ever done to hurt McNeese? Seems pretty damn stupid considering all the money LSU has funneled to one of their state's little brothers by playing them in sports through the years.

You don’t win as many games as he did at LSU, and you don’t take over a completely dead with zero hope program and win a conference with them in year one if you aren’t coaching Xs and Os at a decent level.
"completely dead with zero hope" programs have multiple future NBA players on a full roster? Just because Johnny Jones couldn't coach doesn't mean there wasn't talent.

It is funny to see the Wade Brigade constantly claim that Wade took over a horrible situation.

The only NBA player they had was Skylar Mays.

They had absolutely no post play. This team has more talent than Wades first team. They went 8-10 in league play.

I said in another post, 10 of their 11 remaining games are winnable. 6 of them are at home. Absolutely no reason they can’t go 5-5 and get to 8-10 in league play

Embarrassing. Just like when Napier had ULL a better team than LSU at the end of the Ogre era.

Wrong. Duop Reath. A 6'9" center which should address your post play comment.

Just because a game is "winnable" doesn't make it a 50/50 game. But of course you know this and are just peacocking for your former coach.

Are you stupid?

Duop reath has been gone for 6 years and has not gotten out of the G-League

Baker will probably land on a G league roster

He has taken Texas Southern to the conference championship several times. Made the NCAA Tourney.

The Wade vs McMahon "argument" makes my head hurt.

McMahon was given a seven-year contract, which sorta tells us what Woodward thought of the rebuilding job that lay ahead.

I miss the LSU teams that played under Will Wade. But there's no way the NCAA was going to allow us to retain Wade after the FBI wiretapping stuff. (Don't forget that there were football violations, too. In a sense, we sacrificed basketball for the sake of football. I'm okay with that, and so should we all).

The real hurt is going to come when McNeese continues to post good records and some SEC team decides to hire Wade.
