Hanny was impressed with Orgeron’s ability to get key LSU players to return, noting the numbers represent a quarter of a recruiting class, adding that those returning are important contributors to the team. Hanny was surprised that Ingram and Ali are returning. Great start for 2021.

The O has lost the locker room mantra appears to vastly exaggerated.

You mean the rant overreacted like a bunch 3 year olds? You don’t say...

Fact: the same people jumping on O at every opportunity are majority people who didn’t want him hired and have wanted him fired since 2017.

Hanny just said the direction of DC and Coach is pretty much set but the OC is more complicated. Based on the success of the 2019 season Hanny doesn’t see LSU having a problem getting their DC.

Since you made a Hanny thread. Did he just basically make it sound like the Freeman interview was a formality or is that just me wishing?

Yes, he sounded like Freeman will get done. Sees no reason why it can’t. But may only be for a year or two.

Ingram is a very big and welcome surprise. I never understood the concern for Ali leaving. I would have been more surprised had he left. He had moments of good play, but certainly wasn't dominant.

At this point I think Rosenthal is the only guy that realistically should come back that we are waiting on. Logan has been here 5 years already. Hard to see him coming back for a 6th. Deculus is a Senior and kind of is what he is at this point (relative to his draft stock). I wouldn't be surprised to just take his shot at the next level now.

Yep. Guess who was the one that reported O lost the team before the season started? The one and only Brooks Kubena. The guy is a total loser and hack. Can’t forget him. Now more than ever are LSU players returning. The Advocate is such a joke.

Orgeron didn’t lose this team, the last two games of the season clearly showed anyone that. Brooks was clearly too quick to make such a powerful statement. Covid messed with players minds a lot, more so than anything else.

I think So.

I mean People forget he got Shelvin, Stevens and Vincent to come back before Covid. That was a solid haul considering how man 1-3 rounders we had.

Brooks is absolutely terrible at his job. LSU should stop giving him the password to the zoom call

Last year was a confluence of a few issues. Coming off the nc and covid. We lost a ton of players and I think many of the ones who stayed assumed it would just happen again and we would be bama. Covid hits and the coaches have a little less control over the players and we have guys who just didn’t come back in shape. Top it off with a bad recruiting class where we lost too many guys Things will turn around. We had a lot of young guys and guys who should now realize they need to actually work to stay good coming back.
I think we will be good next year. Top 10 or so. And build from there

Ryan Clark will be pissed that the players aren't jumping ship. They must unbelievably like and respect O.
