Right on, we don't need a real head coach.

I mean, Woodward graduated from LSU

big difference

He was also born and raised in Baton Rouge. He worked as a lobbyist in Baton Rouge before getting his start in college athletics at LSU. There may not be a more qualified person to be the LSU AD both from the stand point of his history of coaching hires AND ability to navigate the political landscape of Louisiana as it pertains to LSU.

But alas, we (LSU) continue to be stuck with the bozo who beat exactly no one else to the podium to triumphantly hire Johnny Jones and Ed Ogeron.

I'm sure you can find plenty of things you could more plausibly blame on JBE.

I didn't know you posted here Governor, you picked the perfect screen name.

Watch Woodward come in the next year, then Jimbo follow him a year or two after that. Would be glorious.

Jimbo ain't going anywhere anytime soon. Nobody is paying that ridiculous amount of money for his buyout.

You don’t know it, but you’re confirming the OP when you say this.

This board loves piling on JBE and rightfully so maybe in some instances, but you clowns need to go back and do your research. It was y'all's boy Jindal, who most of you voted for and later hated, who did this, not Edwards.

Damn Edwards all you want when it's justified but put the blame on Jindal when it's deserved.

I will say this about Ott. I hate his gambling talk but that guy does have connections in LSU.

Wrong.
JBE had nothing to do with that decision, which was made by F King, Jindal and Jindal's BOS

Yep, iirc Edwards was only elected like 5 days before it All went down and wasn't even sworn in yet

Right, more like Woodward would be glad to use LSU to get a raise at A&M if offered.

This was my first thought when I saw the thread title. If A&M wants to keep Woodward, LSU couldn’t afford to get into a bidding war for him.

FWIW I’m not saying this. It was on the radio that someone close to Scott said he’d come home and lives BR and LSU Random where are they on “not renewing” FKing? That could be the first dominoe.

That and how Woodward has balls and would close where Joe A couldn’t.

there is no knowledge behind this statement. ZERO.

having balls is being defined as ponying up a guaranteed $75 million dollar contract?

I call that fiscally irresponsible. the aggies are going to be in a HUGE hole is it doesn't work out. then woodward will be knocking on USL's doors

#1 Hanni and Ott don’t know their arse from a hole in the ground.
#2 Woodward wouldn’t have closed Herman and a $75,000,000 guaranteed contract for a guy who was 5-6 is not “closing” a deal, it’s being duped due to desperation.

Don’t be such a baby. They do know Scott Woodward. It’s amazing you idiots defend glaring let downs. Forget debating the results they have failed over and over. This is why some is make 6 digits and only see the rest of you when we’re eating.

I’m not big on ad hominem, but I’m making an exception for you.

You’re an IDIOT if you think Woodward isn’t a good AD.

Hell, I bet you think Alleva is a good AD. Alleva is literally the worst AD in the country. He’s far worse than the one UTk fired. Every college in Louisiana has a better AD than Joe Alleva.

I doubt this is true. Frankly, Scott would be a fool to come back to this nickel and dime operation until F King is gone.

Not a downvote in sight.

Joe A. is paid too much to be so shitty.

Moscona, about a year ago on his show, said the man is "competent and a very good AD" and that those of us who felt otherwise "have no clue". It's too bad he's too big to take more than 2 calls per show now because he deserves to be rectified on such a stupid claim. Apparently, because Joe and he know each other, he felt the need to go to bat. ANd this is DURING the Louisville bowl game/offseason.

NOt Gerry DiNardo...not Lesticles...not John Brady or Trent or Johnny Jones...NOTHING will give all of more elation than firing this twat.

Can anyone point out one poster who likes this guy? He's a CANCER.
