What a loser mentality. Embrace the moment and the stage that comes along with it. Bryant Denny isn't that intimidating to begin with (the team that makes it intimidating is showing up with the same consistency no matter the time).

It's not a loser mentality. It's a realistic mentality that fans are louder at night and I prefer LSU have every advantage it can, regardless of opponent.

frick ESPN. They never schedule shite properly. 5 out of 6 LSU games you watch, you have to wait for the last 4 minutes of a game that has long since been decided to run out before they switch coverage to LSU.

If you watch live, and know to tune into ESPN 25 until that switch is made, probably not an issue. But if you have a job or a life where you'd rather not be a slave to a certain time for every game and rely on DVR so you can keep commitment, than ESPN fricks you almost every time, just because its that fricking important to see the last 4:52 of Ohio St beating Podunk U 66-3.

At least CBS knows how to schedule shite. ESPN is like a fricking airline that sells too many tickets for every flight because it figures some passengers arent going to show.

Nope. I want to crush them at home at night so they can spend 4 hours in traffic letting that loss sink in at 1 am on the way back to arse-end Alabama.

Before ESPN came along, we generally had one game a week on tv. Hate on them all you want, but they certainly expanded college football on TV. And I think that is a good thing.

Go look at the number of CFB games CBS airs each week. Then look at the number of games ESPN airs each week. You will see why this is kind of silly.

CBS spends the least money on their HD equipment it’s a problem on all systems cable and sat and streaming. With Antenna it’s better but still not
Good

Maybe get a real job where you don't work on Saturdays.

Sounds like your life priorities don't put the LSU game very high. Also sounds like you don't know how to use technology. If you care that little about watching the game that you wait to watch your DVR recording of it, you might as well wait until it's on youtube or the ESPN app the next day and then you won't miss anything, and you don't have to fast forward through the commercials.

Great - listening to Gary slobber all over Saban's dick is always fun.

did you guys ever stop to think the reason Gary slobbers over Bama (assuming that he does) is that they've been the dominant team in the SEC for a decade?

Great teams/players/coaches tend to get a lot of praise. I fail to see how this is surprising.

Want it to change? Beat Bama.

I agree. I have always thought we would break the bama losing streak at bama and not at home

I’d rather it be at 11:00 am, SEC Network.

Id like to see it just in spite of Saban bitching earlier in the season about how many 11am kickoffs they have especially after Bama loses.

The other issue is ESPN is going to be left with either Vandy/UF or UT/KY for their 6pm slot. They're going to take a huge loss on that Saturday.

Why would ESPN give up this game?? Just curious.

Money is why ESPN would give it up, what is CBS willing to offer? That is what Hannagriff wants know.

ESPN is not giving up the LSU\Bama game.

CBS will get it irregardless. They would just rather have the 7pm slot (which they already used) not the 2:30 slot.

Either way ESPN isn't getting this game. If the money makes more sense to allow CBS to have the 7pm slot then they will take the deal. There aren't any other real high profile games that could make a killing at the 7pm slot for ESPN so might as well allow CBS and pocket the cash.

ESPN isn't giving up the game. It's agreeing to let CBS broadcast an SEC game against their ABC and ESPN primetime game. CBS's contract is with the SEC in the afternoon slot.
