On 104.5, Hannagriff appeared certain that CBS will pay ESPN big bucks to move the Alabama vs LSU matchup to a night game.

Was really hoping for the 2:30 slot on the road. Don't give Bama any more home stadium advantage.

With the way TV timeouts are taken on CBS after every score, a 7PM start between this LSU team and Bama very well could end after midnight. Not even joking.

Their cameras have always sucked. I have the same issues, but it is only on CBS broadcasts.

So, I have a little inside info here due to a family member being employed by the CBS Sports marketing team. They have been shopping for sponsors for over 4 weeks now to see if they can get enough ad money to make the offer to ESPN. They have plenty. The offer will be made to ESPN likely next week. The biggest issue is CBS has to put a game that afternoon so look for Mizzou/UGA to go in that time slot. They are having trouble getting big sponsors for that game but what they're getting for the LSU/Bama primetime slot is making it worth it.
The other issue is ESPN is going to be left with either Vandy/UF or UT/KY for their 6pm slot. They're going to take a huge loss on that Saturday.
That also leaves the ABC primetime game. That one will likely go to Iowa/Wisconsin unless Iowa slips up between now and then. The Big XII schedule is shite that day so that's out.

What a loser mentality. Embrace the moment and the stage that comes along with it. Bryant Denny isn't that intimidating to begin with (the team that makes it intimidating is showing up with the same consistency no matter the time).
