hanging my head in shame but...

my third anniversary is this week. Months ago, my Virginia born wife got us a weekend at the beach to celebrate. She's REALLY good looking. Hot body and all that.

HOWEVER, this was prior to my TRUE beloved (bee-love-ED), LSU, proving it's mettle to compete for a playoff spot.

So here's my conundrum. I need to take the wife out to dinner on Sat night to this nice restaurant at the beach. and she DESERVES it. she's a fantastic wife and my baby-mama is the polar opposite.

that said, i am TORN.

so here is my question. there IS internet at the beach house. but there is NO DVR. i have a UVERSE subscription and am happy to take my ROKU with me.

i've already backed up dinner reservations to 6pm (Eastern) with the blue-hairs.

the question is, can i use the ESPN app on ROKU to start the game from the beginning at 8.30 or 9 (Eastern) and hope my bro in law and dad don't spoil the game with texts? i mean, does ROKU allow you to start at the beginning, in the ESPN app, and FF to catch up?

I already know that most of you fools will beta-male classify me. but i grew up in BR and will put my fan intensity up against ANYONE. Bottom line....i need your support and ideas. any thoughts OTHER than "EFF that BEATCH"?

P.S. i asked my wife's best friend, our Gamecock neighbor, assuming she understands SEC commitment (which she obviously doesn't), what i should do given that we are pursuing a natty run...and she said succinctly....LSU ain't on a natty run!. Very confidently. From a Gamecock fan of all people. I lost all respect for her at that point. Those people are so severely damaged from Clempson's success. You can obviously understand the confusion.
