No, I said LSU wouldn’t be checking box scores for erroneous ejection notes. I said that several posts ago. That’s the issue at hand here.

the rule book posted in that screenshot is the NCAA rulebook
it was BigXII officials calling the game, that's the only input they would have.
they initially ruled it "unsportsmanlike conduct" which does not carry a suspension over to the next game.
but the NCAA has the authority to review the film and change it to "fighting"
that would carry over to this game if that happened.
apparently for some reason this question is just coming to public light now.
maybe LSU already knows the answer and just isn't stating it publicly.
which is somewhat strange considering Cooley is same situation and they publicly commented on that one.
